AusTalk was founded in 2010 by James Mitchell — a logistics industry veteran with a clear vision: to provide Australian businesses with freight and logistics services that combine reliability, transparency, and genuine care for the customer.
From a modest office in Sydney's CBD, AusTalk began as a domestic road freight operation serving New South Wales. Word spread quickly. Clients valued our commitment to on-time delivery and straightforward communication — qualities that were, frankly, uncommon in the industry at the time.
By 2015, we had expanded our capabilities to include international sea freight and air freight, enabling Australian importers and exporters to access a truly end-to-end logistics partner. We opened operational hubs in Melbourne and Brisbane, and established key trade lane partnerships across Asia-Pacific.
Today, AusTalk serves clients across 20+ countries, handling everything from project cargo and temperature-controlled shipments to e-commerce fulfilment and customs brokerage.
